Get to know Chelle

Chief Executive Officer (CEO), owner and founder

Michelle's construction career began with four years in Chicago's Carpenters Union. She founded C-Perfect Carpentry in 1990 and ran that business for the next 27 years, specializing in interior and exterior remodeling, major additions and new home construction.

She moved to Punta Gorda in October 2017 and founded Chelle Renovate & Build in 2021. Today, she brings that experience to renovation, repair and construction projects for Southwest Florida homeowners.

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Cody, Michelle's son, attended Western Michigan University on a full athletic scholarship, playing Division I football while earning a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting.

He began his career in public and private accounting before becoming a State Farm agent in the Chicago area. At Chelle, he oversees sales, permitting and operational logistics, bringing his business and insurance experience to project planning and coordination.

Our work includes interior remodeling, impact windows and doors, siding, soffit, fascia and gutters, structural framing and additions, and new construction or major improvements. We can also discuss roofing and storm-restoration coordination as part of your project's needs.

Whether you're updating a kitchen, repairing storm damage or planning a larger change, we start with your property, your priorities and a clear conversation about the scope.

Construction involves more than the work you can see. We coordinate with a network of engineers, surveyors, electricians, plumbers and HVAC professionals, giving homeowners a primary point of contact as the different parts of a project come together. When questions or unexpected conditions arise, we help identify the next steps and the right professionals to involve.

Our experience includes Southwest Florida's flood-zone requirements and complex permitting and renovation projects. We work through the requirements for the individual property with the appropriate professionals and local permitting authority.
